But there is one antagonist in the video game world who cannot be defeated. He is a raccoon with nothing but pure evil in his heart and gold in his pockets, and his name is Tom Nook. ‘Zelda: Link’s Awakening’ Remake

It was just recently announced that a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will be dropping in 2019. I have never played the original, but from what I saw in the trailer, this game looks beautiful. The sequel to A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening deals with hero Link stranded on a strange island after washing ashore while out at sea. I am excited to cintinue this specific Link’s story and see what his destiny holds for him. After the success of releasing A Link Between Worlds (which was basically a remake itself), it seems like a no-brainer for Nintendo to release a remake of Link’s Awakening. Originally released for the Game Boy, this remake is a great fit for the Nintendo Switch system, which can be played as a console or in mobile form. One of my favorite early memories in life was playing on my grandpa’s Super Nintendo as a kid. Sure, there was a pool, a swing-set, and a huge backyard to do pretty much anything, but I was always drawn to the Nintendo. I looked forward to loading up my save files and continuing my journey from last time on the road trip. Super Mario World was one of my favorites. It was such a beautiful world, a side-scrolling game that was simple enough yet challenging at the same time. This game was great back then, and it still holds up today. The first thing about this game is how amazing it looked for the time. The colors all pop and the graphics on this game are so much better than its Super Mario Bros. 3 predecessor on the original NES. ‘Madden’ Predicts the Rams Will Beat the Pats

As has been done in the past, Electronic Arts did their yearly Super Bowl simulation, trying to predict this year’s winner. This Madden NFL 19 sim had the Rams beating the Patriots by a score of 30 – 27. Historically, the Madden Super Bowl sim has been pretty accurate. Since 2004, the simulation has been correct 10 out of 15 times, not bad for a video game. While Madden has shown to be accurate in past predictions, I am here to tell you Madden is wrong this year. As much as I would love to see my UGA boy Todd Gurley tear it up this Sunday and hoist that Lombardi trophy, I don’t see it happening. Imperius’ Voice Lines Leaked – Awesome and Hilarious

Data miners have ripped out Imperius’ (no one has has the plural figured out yet) voice lines and they’re awesome. You can listen to them over at the Heroes of the Storm Wiki, but they really shine. Heroes of the Storm is one of the few outlets we get to dive deeper into some of the character’s personal stories and with Imperius we get a lot. His disdain for mortals and the Nephalem (Diablo III’s player character) is well observed. One thing that gets me is he says “Your kind are an abomination!” to Diablo II player character heroes (like Xul). This is interesting to me because we know that Diablo I’s player characters were basically villains in Diablo II (Blood Raven, The Summoner and Spoiler: Diablo).
