Age of Empires II (AoE II) remains strong after its 2019 release, remaining high on the top played Steam games through 2021 and even through 2023. It’s both an eSports title of kind as competitive PvP is a big scene and friends everywhere are reliving playing both PvE and PvP in AoE II. The following tier list is both for LAND and SEA. This is a generalized mix based on who is the overall most powerful across the board. If you’re looking for an easy civilization to pickup and play (and win) then our S-Tier is where you’re going to want to go. If you’re looking for a good civilization with good starting skills and mobility, look to the A Tier. From B Tier on, it’s more your choice to play than the best the game can offer. Though with the right build order, most civilizations can fair well. In…

Diablo IV has a very anticlimactic ending that may leave you scratching your head if the game is really over or what has occurred. It may not make a lot of sense at first, but there’s a few things at play when it comes to the ending. We’ll go first over the ending itself literally then take a figurative look at what all of this means for Sanctuary. Quick Note: For the backstory on Lilith, Inarius and Sanctuary see sort of “Part 1” which goes over the events before the game. We’re going to dive right into the ending, which kicks off towards the very end of Diablo IV. How Does Diablo IV End? Inarius and Lilith were both, from the player character’s point of view, insane from their time exiled. Inarius had been in hell for a few millennia per Lorath (which holds the canon from the books still)…

Players can be quite confused at who Inarius and Lilith when they have almost no exposure to either of them before Diablo IV’s launch. Inarius is a rogue angel and Lilith is a rogue demon who created Sanctuary as a means to escape the Eternal Conflict between angels and demons over the Worldstone (the focus of Diablo II). They birthed the nephalem which eventually over time became humanity. That’s everything. We have a ton of technical lore history below, but if you’re just curious who they are that’s about the best summary I think you can have. When they introduce themselves in the game as the mother and father of Sanctuary, they’re not lying. There’s a lot more technical info on the situation than that, but we first need to talk about what came about to cause them to create Sanctuary. We’ll then go into a mixed bag of topics…

There’s a lot to picking your first class and then subsequent job in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) to take into consideration. Seasoned and new players alike can have difficulty choosing which job to play and it’s especially relevant for new players who have to stick with the first class they pick for awhile. Getting stuck on that class selection screen is a real reality with so many classes in FFXIV to choose from. The first thing we go over is picking your class and you’re stuck with that until level 10. Then at level 30 you can change to jobs which grant expanded abilities. Then at level 50 there are new jobs to unlock based on expansions and other considerations. So we go into what all the different classes / jobs do in the game, how to acquire them and what they do. So consider this a one stop shop…

Pentiment is an amazing game of beautiful art and stylized text in the 1500s. One of the beautiful things about the game is that it gives you an artistic representation of life for the various classes of people, what they did in their day to day lives along with some religious and political intrigue. What the game doesn’t do is give the player any edification on what is and isn’t true in the world around them. This is true in both Act I and Act II when you’re given the chance to weigh in on the investigation in town. In Phoenix Wright your job would be to accuse the actual perpetrator but in Pentiment, you’re given something a bit different. That’s a lack of resources, time, access and knowledge to discover who did any of the main crimes in the game. At best you can provide what you’ve found and…
