Players in the popular MMORPG FFXIV have been reporting Xbox account bans for using the term “Free Company” within the game’s online chat. This comes after the successful launch of FFXIV on Xbox which has enjoyed top spot in the free games category. The general thought behind this is that “Free Company” is much like “Free Roblox” or “Free Nitro” used by scammers, flagging accounts for Microsoft account bans. A popular thread on Reddit was one of the first to expose this: “Free Company” is the name of guilds in FFXIV, so this comes as quite a shock that it’s possible for the term to trigger bans. So far this seems to be limited, with a few reports of this occurring, but still, something to watch. The Nuphy Air (60/75/95) is a frequently suggested portable keyboard that provides a mechanical keyboard on the go. The keyboard itself, the build quality is mostly impressive with the device being very well served in the niche it’s in. It’s small, weighs little, has a long battery (with the lights off) and combined with the folio is a great portable keyboard. The exception is, though, a few particular design flaws that make the keyboard inoperable for portable use, which is supposedly solved by the “v2” but early adopters are left with some curious defects to the device. Most guides will tell you to make a new world and give keys out and that’s very much true.
