The Five Night’s at Freddy’s (2023) (Blumhouse) movie has been released and with it a new story in the FNAF universe has been added. The movie, taking place in its own universe, follows the story of Mike Schmidt as he just tries to work as a night security guard at a local abandoned pizzeria. The movie is not canonical to the games and resides within its own canonical universe. Easter eggs, focused around the security cameras in the game, have tie-ins relating to the games, but the story doesn’t mirror the games. The story of the FNAF movie focuses on survival horror of Mike, Abby and Vanessa in the pizzeria, surviving the ghosts within the animatronics both mentally and physically. The 1.20 update has added beautiful cherry blossom trees to Minecraft. On our community server we love them and have got them planted everywhere. They’re a bit tricky to find, but we’ve got the details on how to locate the Cherry Blossom Biome. Locating the Biome Without Console Commands If you’re just on standard Minecraft and aren’t using console commands, there isn’t going to be a real “trick” to finding the Cherry Blossom Biome. It often spawns where meadows would, near the base of a mountain, which means you can find emerald ore underneath the biome. If you’re in creative mode you can simply fly in a single direction and keep going until you locate the biome. You’ll notice them by the distinct pink leaves and lime green ground. Locating the Biome with Console Commands If you have proper server permissions or are playing creative yourself, you can simply use:…

Diablo IV has a very anticlimactic ending that may leave you scratching your head if the game is really over or what has occurred. It may not make a lot of sense at first, but there’s a few things at play when it comes to the ending. We’ll go first over the ending itself literally then take a figurative look at what all of this means for Sanctuary. Quick Note: For the backstory on Lilith, Inarius and Sanctuary see sort of “Part 1” which goes over the events before the game. We’re going to dive right into the ending, which kicks off towards the very end of Diablo IV. How Does Diablo IV End? Inarius and Lilith were both, from the player character’s point of view, insane from their time exiled. Inarius had been in hell for a few millennia per Lorath (which holds the canon from the books still)…

Limited Run Games is a small publisher and manufacturer of physical video games and the associated goodies that come with them. Their original idea was to sell limited releases of games, essentially take the cost of doing one run, do a bit of math for some profit and then sell the games. Then, in kickstarter fashion, make them and deliver them to their customers. That worked well for awhile, but now they’re sort of a hybrid limited game company. So now games come in an open pre-order cycle with a limited window to purchase and much longer manufacturing times. So let’s dig into a bit about how the Limited Run Games process works. If you’re curious more on the philosophy of LRG, check out our article on the game collector’s market. Closed vs. Open Pre-Orders There is two types of pre-orders: If something is closed then it’s best to make…

Limited Run Games is a publisher of limited runs of physical games. There are other outlets, like Strictly Limited, that do a similar thing but Limited Run Games is what I would consider the industry leader in this very interesting world of limited video game releases. Their popularity recently has continued to only soar as collectors attempt to collect a wide range of their products, from the games they love to those who just love to collect every release. To be completely candid, I recently was looking at MidBoss’s Japanese release of the 2064 collector’s edition and fell immediately in love with the artwork and everything about it. Obtaining the previous US release led me down a long and wild adventure into a niche market that’s exploding in popularity and has a lot of pieces to untangle. The Principles of False Scarcity & A Limited History of Collector’s Editions If…
